Creating Your Ad Content
For this course, you'll be using pre-made content sourced directly from TikTok for your video ads — no filming or production required. This keeps your startup costs low while you test whether a product has real potential.
Here's how to find and build on that content:
Source Videos from TikTok
Search for your product on TikTok and look for videos where real people are using or reviewing it. This type of content — often called user-generated content (UGC) — tends to perform well in ads because it feels authentic and relatable.
Study What's Already Working
Check the Meta Ads Library to see what your competitors are running. If an ad has been active for a while, it's likely profitable — use that as inspiration for your own creative direction.
Supplement with Simple Visuals
If you need additional content, you can create basic static images or short clips using mockups or product photos. Keep the focus on clear messaging and strong visuals.
Scale Up Once You're Profitable
Once sales start coming in, reinvest into higher-quality content. Use your winning ads as a blueprint — hire content creators to recreate what's already proven to work, rather than starting from scratch.
