Media Buyer for Our 8-Figure/Year Brand

We're hiring an experienced Media Buyer for our 8-figure per year Shopify brand in the weight loss space.

We are looking for someone who has real experience buying media for weight loss, fitness, wellness, or transformation-based products โ€” ideally for a direct-to-consumer Shopify brand.

This is not a role for someone who simply launches campaigns and waits for results. We need someone who understands the full picture.

Someone who can look at the ad account, the creatives, the landing pages, the customer avatar, the seasonality, the past winners, and the entire buying journey โ€” then identify the small details that create massive improvements in performance.

Important Clarification About This Role

This is NOT a CRO role.

This is NOT a CMO role.

We are not looking for someone whose primary responsibility is redesigning funnels, rebuilding websites, or managing entire marketing departments.

What we ARE looking for is a true media buyer. Someone who deeply understands that media buying is far more than just launching ads and turning campaigns on or off.

A great media buyer understands the ecosystem around the ads. They understand:

  • The customer avatar
  • The offer
  • The landing page
  • The creative
  • The seasonality
  • The buying psychology
  • The historical data
  • The intent behind traffic
  • The relationship between ads and conversion

They notice small details that can massively impact performance.

We want a killer media buyer who can manage and optimize campaigns, but more importantly, someone who can see the nuances most people miss.

You should naturally be asking questions like:

  • Are the ads going to the right pages?
  • Do the landing pages match the avatar being targeted in the ads?
  • Are we doubling down on the campaigns, angles, and creatives that are already working?
  • Are there winning campaigns from last year tied to seasonality that should be brought back and tested again?
  • Are we maximizing the best-performing hooks, offers, pages, and audience segments?
  • Are there obvious leaks in the funnel that no one is paying attention to?

We are not looking for someone who only thinks: "I need to launch ads."

We are looking for someone who thinks like an operator.

Someone who understands that great media buying is not just about pushing buttons inside Meta or Google Ads. It is about understanding the customer, the offer, the creative, the funnel, the timing, and the numbers.

  • Manage and optimize paid ad campaigns across Meta and Google/PPC
  • Review performance daily and identify opportunities to scale and improve efficiency
  • Analyze ads, landing pages, offers, customer avatars, and historical campaign data
  • Identify winning angles, campaigns, creatives, and seasonal opportunities
  • Work closely with the internal team to ensure the right creatives are being tested against the right avatar
  • Spot inconsistencies between ads, pages, offers, and customer intent
  • Bring strategic recommendations to improve performance beyond the ad account itself
  • Help us scale what is already working while identifying new opportunities for growth
  • Proven experience buying media for DTC Shopify brands
  • Specific experience with weight loss, fitness, wellness, or transformation-based products
  • Strong understanding of Meta ads and Google/PPC campaigns
  • Ability to analyze campaigns beyond surface-level metrics
  • Experience scaling winning campaigns profitably
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to think strategically and holistically
  • Comfortable reviewing landing pages, offers, creative angles, and customer avatars
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain what is working, what is not, and what needs to change
